Kensington Hotel Central Parade 6-8 Nevill Crescent Llandudno, Conwy, LL30 1AT |

This hotel was recommended to me by a dance group! As we will be sharing the hotel with the dance group for this Twixmas holiday, we won’t be starting bridge until 7:45 p.m. so the dancers won’t be walking through the area of the dining room where we will be playing bridge. Numbers will be limited to 7 tables for this holiday as that is all we can squeeze in. There isn’t room for the usual prize tables either so I will be issuing vouchers instead which can be used for prizes or bridge fees for another holiday or cashed in after the final bridge session.
It is a classically styled Victorian, seafront hotel prominently positioned on the central promenade with spectacular views of the Great Orme and Llandudno Bay. Owned by the Beardmore family for the past 30 years, the hotel is managed by highly experienced staff and is well used to catering for both private guests and group parties. Visitors keep coming back year-on-year, appreciative of the top-class hospitality, friendliness, good plain food and excellent service.
The hotel has 50 well-maintained en-suite guest rooms mainly with showers. All rooms have LCD TV, telephone, and hospitality facilities. First Floor Sea View Bedrooms and Second Floor Sea View Bedrooms enjoy excellent panoramic sea views of the famous promenade and two headlands. A lift provides convenient access to all floors. Unlike many hotels in Llandudno, guests need not worry about parking as a large private car park at the rear can accommodate everyone staying at the hotel.
The Kensington Hotel is conveniently located for all local attractions, dining, bars and entertainment. Venue Cymru Llandudno Theatre and Conference Centre is just a minute’s walk away. The hotel is an excellent base to explore the many famous attractions in and around Llandudno, Snowdonia and other parts of North Wales, so you may want to return for a private visit when you will have more time to explore the delights on offer. |
