Some of the hotels have had problems recently because their reception staff had taken calls direct and booked guests into rooms which I had already allocated to others. Bookings made direct with the hotel will not be guaranteed even if you have paid a deposit.

Last minute cancellation - double room Twixmas
3rd January 2025 is the deadline for the March holiday at the Skipton Hotel
New pre-Christmas holiday at the Bedford 15th December 2025
Even my holidays for 2026 are filling up fast, especially for single occupancy rooms. I’m already taking provisional bookings for 2026 holidays without prices!
